Jens Hausmann: acoustic fingerstyle guitar between jazz, latin, classical guitar, blues, flamenco and folk.
Through the years my music has developed from singer/songwriter music to instrumental acoustic fingerstyle guitar being on focus now. For some impressions feel free to follow these links:

His music has a lot of variety of styles somewhere between jazz, latin and folk. There are some influences of Chet Atkins, the more jazzy side reminds of Joe Pass and Wes Montgomery and there is this ever present touch of latin and flamenco elements and classical guitar mixed with a piano influenced aproach combining two or more parts simultaniasly, like basslines, chords and melodies.
Over the years duos were his favorite and main working field. The other half could be almost anything: guitar, double bass, harp, saxophone, flute, vocals...since 1994 he has been working as a Solo Artist simply changing the other part into vocals and still playing with his versatility, and virtuosity as if he wouldn't have to sing... Jens Hausmann writes and sings clever songs from the heart with a more than solid musicianship, there is no time where it's finished. This is vintage music, timeless: something that never goes out of style, joyful, playful made with passion, lips & fingers. This doesn't mean being against new technical achievements, but isn't it great if it works without plugging things for half an hour? It's a much more intimate and personal thing, as life should be! So, anyone fed up with fast-food and still have an attention span longer than a few minutes is more than welcome!
